Toscano Hosts Panel Presentation on Energy Efficiency and Assistance on July 8July 1, 2010
Dear Friends,
As you know, analyzing and changing how we use energy has been a major focus of my work in the General Assembly over the past five years. I am hosting a panel discussion on energy efficiency initiatives here in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area on July 8, 2010 at 2pm in Charlottesville City Council chambers. I have invited four knowledgeable panelists to discuss energy efficiency and energy assistance programs in our area and how you can take advantage of them.
The panelists include Alison Kaufmann of Dominion Virginia Power, Bill Dyer of the Charlottesville Gas Assistance Program, Kathryne Presson of the Albemarle Energy Assistance Program, and Cynthia Adams of the Local Energy Alliance Program.
The panel will be broadcast live on Channel 10 public access television and will be rebroadcast throughout the fall. I encourage you to come watch it live from City Council chambers and to stick around afterwards with your questions and comments.
